The combination of a growing population, an improving economy and a decreasing savings interest has caused many people to explore the possibilities of investing in agricultural plots. Noordenveld currently has a population of about 31.000 inhabitants. As such, it is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the area, which also means there is a lot of pressure on local authorities to prevent a housing shortage. That is why they have decided to build at least 450 new houses before 2030. According to the most recent plans, these houses are to be built in an area to the south of Roden. The plot on offer here lies within the borders of this area, close to existing neighborhoods.
Roden is connected to the surrounding towns by the N373 and the N372. Via these roads you can reach the city centre of Groningen within a few minutes. The same applies to Drachten, Assen and the German border.
